Honoring the Life, Work and Legacy of César Chávez

As a dedicated practitioner of nonviolent resistance, César Chávez led a life of service. Partnering with Dolores Huerta, he organized farmworkers throughout the state of California for "La Causa." In honor of his life and work, we will reflect on the labor leader's legacy and discuss the current state of farmworkers in the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic.
