Dr. Eric Fung, VP, Clinical Development, GRAIL, Inc., GRAIL, Inc.,
Speaker's Bio:
Dr. Eric Fung is Vice President of Clinical Development at GRAIL, where he leads several clinical development programs in support of the development of a blood-based multi-cancer detection test. He previously held clinical development and R&D leadership roles at Affymetrix, Vermillion, Ciphergen, and Roche Molecular Diagnostics. Dr. Fung has led clinical trials leading to FDA clearance of multiple IVD products. Dr. Fung received his MD, PhD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. A Caltech Associate, Dr. Fung received his BS in Biology (Class of '90).

The Division of Biology and Bioengineering is excited to announce a new Virtual Speaker Series on Non-Academic Careers in Science. The first speaker in the series is Caltech alum Dr. Eric Fung, MD, PhD (Biology, '90). Dr. Fung will discuss his career path, including the transition from academia to industry, and his current position at GRAIL, where he leads clinical development programs in support of the development of a blood-based multi-cancer detection test.
