Three Caltech Undergraduate Students Receive Goldwater Scholarships

Three students from the California Institute of Technology have been awarded Barry M. Goldwater Scholarships for the 2004-05 academic year. The scholarship program, honoring the late Senator Barry M. Goldwater, was designed to encourage outstanding students to pursue careers in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences, and engineering. The Goldwater Scholarship is considered one of the premier undergraduate awards of its type in these fields.
